Brendan Fraser has won the best entertainer Oscar for The Whale at the Foundation Grants in Los Angeles.

Fraser stars as a very big boned educator in the movie, which was coordinated by Darren Aronofsky and adjusted by Samuel D Tracker from his own play. Fraser crushed a field of competitors including Elvis' Austin Steward and The Banshees of Inisherin's Colin Farrell.

The job has previously won Fraser best entertainer at the Screen Entertainers Organization and Pundits' Decision grants, and best entertainer selections for the Baftas and Brilliant Globes (for film show). Fraser decided not to go to the last option, subsequent to claiming in 2018 that the Brilliant Globes previous president Philip Berk physically attacked him in 2003. Berk referred to the charge as "an all out manufacture".
